Wah! - Spiritual World Music Benefit concert for Amma
WAH! will perform a benefit concert for humanitarian and spiritual leader Mata Amritanandamayi or 'Amma', also known as the "Hugging Saint" by the international press. Proceeds benefit Amma's charities.
WAH! combines reggae, Hindu chanting and pop to create a unique mix of spiritual world music. She has created extensive music products for yoga and meditation communities. She has performed at Yoga Journal Conferences, Omega Institute, and UK Yoga Show. Her CDs showcase her creative approach to mantra, Hindu devotional chanting and songs in English. Her 2008 release from Nutone Music, LOVE HOLDING LOVE, continues her unique combination of hip production with mantra.
