| Sarod Concert by Tejendra Narayan Majumdar Tejendra Narayan Majumdar, a noted sarod player, is one of the popular classical musicians of India today.He was initiated in music by his grand father Shri Bibhuti Ranjan Majumdar and father Shri Ranjan Majumdar. Tejen later studied for 18 years with Ustad Bahadur Khan. He also received vocal training from Shri Amaresh Chowdhury and rhythm training from Shri Anil Palit. Recipient of several awards, Tejen is now a disciple of the living legend Ustad Ali Akbar Khan. His repertoire combines elements from the Dhruvpad, Tantrakari and Gayaki styles of music.
