Clean/Green tech and IT Careers
Jobs in Clean, Green Energy sector are expected to grow rapidly in the next 10 years from 600,000 to over 2 million. What do these numbers mean to the average lay person and where are the future job prospects? What kind of background is needed for pursuing these opportunities?

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, signed into law by President Obama in February, includes more than $70 billion in direct spending and tax credits for clean-energy and transportation programs.

The Cleantech or Green Energy sector has been one of the fastest growing areas of investment in the past decade with nearly a 50% rate of growth. Venture capital investments in the area have accelerated and consisted of over $28 Billion in 2008.
