| World Peace through Inner Peace / Vipassana Talk / S.N. Goenka S. N. GOENKA, internationally renowned as the world's foremost teacher of Vipassana meditation, will be completing his three month Meditation Now Tour of North America in the Boston area by addressing the public on two occasions. In keeping with the spirit of gratitude for the Buddha's teachings, THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR THESE EVENTS! The first of Mr. Goenka's appearances occurs on Tuesday evening, July 30, at John Hancock Hall, 180 Berkeley St. in Boston (near Copley Square), at 7 PM. For this audience, Mr. Goenka will draw upon his long and very successful career as an international businessman and industrialist to speak about "SPIRITUALITY IN BUSINESS AND LEADERSHIP." This topic is of particular interest to all professionals, but is open to the public. The next night, Wednesday, July 31, at 8 PM in MIT's Kresge Auditorium in Cambridge, Mr. Goenka will be sharing the wisdom of the Buddha regarding compassionate nonviolence by speaking on "WORLD PEACE THROUGH INNER PEACE." This technique of meditation, preserved through the ages, increases the self-knowledge and equanimity necessary for inner peace. And, like all the great sages including Gandhi and Black Elk, Mr. Goenka emphasizes that "there will not be world peace unless there is peace within individuals."
