| MASALA Co-Presents 68 Pages 68 Pages '68 Pages' is a grass-roots film-initiative produced by The Humsafar Trust (NGO) in India and directed by Sridhar Rangayan. The film subverts the Bollywood film genre of song-dance and high drama and places characters ignored by media centerstage - a transsexual bar dancer, a prostitute and a gay couple. It tells stories of their pain, happiness and hope, about being HIV+ and alienated. The film exposes the ground realities in India, the society's apathy and cruelty towards those affected by HIV and AIDS and pays tribute to the human spirit of optimism and survival. In Hindi with English subtitles.
