VPS Diwali - Govardhan Puja
This Hindu festival celebrates both Deepawali and Govardhan Puja. Our festival program will include Rama Lila drama, dance, music, lighting of lamps, chanting, distribution of a mountain of sweets and prashadam (vegetarian food). The Vaisnava Academy 108 students will be creating the lamps, just as devotional service and lighting them has traditionally been done for thousands of years. The festival will start at 6:00 pm and will continue until 9pm at Clifford Marshal School, 200 Moody Street Ext., Quincy, MA 02169. Please invite your family and friends. All are welcome!
