Arangetram - Devi Patel
THE EVENT: Arangetram of Devi Patel, daughter or Yogendra and Kamini Patel of Andover. THE VENUE: Littleton High school THE DATE: 23rd August, 2008 at 3:30 PM. THE DANCER: Devi, a honor student at Andover High School and rising junior, has been doing Bharatanatyam under Smt. Jayshree Bala Rajamani for 11 years. With Bharatanatyam, she has also learned many other dance forms, ranging from folk to hip hop. Along with dance, she plays lacrosse for her high school team and participates in several after school activities, such as Sophomore Board of Directors and Project Challenge. She also enjoys working with kids at Kumon and volunteering at the Lawrence General Hospital. In the midst of all her activities, she enjoys spending her free time with her family and friends.
