Two famous stalwart poets from India...
"Hullad Moradabadi (aka Sushil Kumar Chaddha) does not need any introduction. His satire has entertained and awakened the conscience of millions of people for more than 30 years and have thrilled audiences from the ramparts of Lal-Kila. Hullad ji has 8 books to his credits and is a recipient of prestigious "Kaka Haathrasi" award, among others. Famous Hindi poet Neeraj has written about Hullad Moradabadi, "There is no satirist in Hindi who can match Hullad’s satirical gazals". Famous Urdu Poet Krishna Bihari Noor writes "Hullad Moradabadi has reached that height of Satire which forces tears out of the audience" - such powerful is the poetic expression of this great poet! And so is Alok Bhattacharya’s inspirational and patriotic poems. A maestro of Hindi poetry, Alok ji is also an excellent scholar of Bengali and Marathi literature, which helps him enrich his poetic expressions about India, its soil, its culture. Alok Bhattacharya is credited with 6 books, and is an excellent stage master."
