Saheli 5K Walk for Non-Violence
In celebration of Domestic Violence Awareness month in October and Mahatma Gandhi's birthday celebrations, Saheli, Friendship for South Asian Women has organized a 5K Walk/Run for Non Violence on Saturday, September 29, 2007. The walk starts at Burlington High School, 123 Cambridge St. Burlington, MA 01803. Registration begins at 9:00am. The walk begins at 930am and continues till 12 noon. Registration is $10, seniors and children are free. Water is provided free. Please join us with your family, friends, parents, and neighbors, and support programs to reduce violence against women.
