Milind Raikar - Hindustani Violin Concert
Vedanta Society of RI invites you for a Hindustani Violin Concert featuring Violinist Shri Milind Raikar with Shri Aditya Kalyanpur on Tabla. Milind Raikar studied with India’s distinguished Violinist Padmashree Pt. D.K. Datar. He now accompanies and studies with Padmavibhushan Smt. Kishori Amonkar, a leading vocalist in the Jaipur-Atrauli music tradition. His unique style of handling the bow and presentation of “Gayaki – Ang†vocal style sets him apart from his contemporaries. www.milindraikar.com Aditya Kalyanpur will join on tabla.
