TiE-Con 2001 is a premier annual Conference hosted for New England's entrepreneurs. The theme of this year's conference "Defy the limits: Succeeding in a changing environment" is chosen to reflect the challenges, encountered by entrepreneurs in an economy myriad by an array of uncertainty resulting from the dotcom collapse and a volatile capital market. The goal of the conference is to provide entrepreneurs with a framework to evaluate opportunities and build sustainable business models that are strong enough to sail through the tsunamis of this millennium. Starting, managing and growing an enterprise in downturn versus a high growth environment requires a unique skill set and range of expertise. The fourth annual conference is designed to provide the participants with tools required to engage in various aspects of entrepreneurship through practical education, inspiration, role models, and networking opportunities with peers, service providers and potential investors.
