Yogurt with YogaCaps
Studies show that yogurt enhances digestion, improves nutrient absorption, boosts the immune system, inhibits disease producing organisms and is also a valuable source of calcium. Given the many health benefits, we’ll show you how to make your own yogurt at home. Everyone will leave with a yogurt ‘seed’ to start your own yogurt. We will share our yogurt recipe "basics" for those who are new to Indian cooking, or just want a refresher, to help add variety to your diet. These include some of the basics: raitas (yogurt-based salads), beverages (lassi, numkeen/mattha/chhaach) that generate a warming or cooling effect for the body, and to top it off, shrikhand (delicious dessert/side dish for pooris) that everyone will want the recipe for!
