Diwali 2006 / IARI
IARI's annual Diwali function, featuring special guest: Krishna Rasi, a Carnatic-Jazz fusion band, featuring Durga Krishnan on veena, Marc Rossi on keyboards, and Gauri Shankar on mridingam. Program includes dances, music, skits, dinner, fireworks and more. All are welcome, spread the word! We will start promptly at 5:15, come early so you won't miss Krishna Rasi, who'll be the opening act. Admission includes mouth-watering, multi-course dinner catered by Taste of India, including free soda/bottled water. IARI annual patron membership is $100. Family membership is just $25.
