Book reading and signing by Beatrice Fernando
Beatrice Fernando, of Sri Lankan origin and a survivor of modern day slavery, will tell her story. Fernando, is the author of -In contempt of Fate- a captivating and inspriring account of her experiences in Lebanon and risking her life to make a daring escape from her gruelling life as a slave housemaid. A book signing will follow the presentation.
