Kathak Public Workshop - Pandit Chitresh Das
Pandit Chitresh Das will lead a workshop in Kathak dance. Open to all members of the public, this workshop will be of particular value to anyone with experience or interest in dance, percussion, music, theater and/or the arts of South Asia. Directions: By Public Transportation - Take the Red Line to the Central Square MBTA station, exit toward Pearl Street / Main Street. By Car - From Rt. 93 (North or South) take Storrow Drive to the Central Square exit, follow Western Avenue until it intersects with Massachusetts Avenue, turn right onto Massachusetts Avenue. From Boston, take Massachusetts Avenue over the bridge into Cambridge, past MIT. Parking - There are several metered municipal lots in the area, and on-street metered parking. Reduced rate parking is available in the Green Street Garage, located on the corner of Pearl and Green Streets.
