Cosmology and Ancient Indian Architecture by Prof. Subhash Kak
The illustrated talk will explain the astronomical and mystical plan behind monumental architecture in India. In particular, it will show the logical basis behind Vastu and why numbers such as 108, 339, and 360 appear in the plan of the buildings as well as in other facets of Indian culture. Prof Subhash Kak is a world-known scientist, philosopher and a poet. He has authored over 200 journal articles and 15 books on subjects such as Information Theory, Quantum computing, Ancient Indian History an Indian Art.
