Odissi Dance by Madhavi Mudgal
An Odissi Dance Recital by Padmashri Madhavi Mudgal & Gandharva Dance Ensemble Madhavi Mudgal is an exponent of the Odissi style of Indian classical dance. One of the most dynamic dancers, she exhibits brilliant technique and exceptional grace. Trained under legendary Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra, she herself has created a generation of outstanding dancers at the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, New Delhi. She is renowned for her innovative dance choreography, her subtle ‘Abhinaya’, and her refined aesthetic sensibility. In this performance, she will be accompanied by senior dancers of the Gandharva Dance Ensemble.
