| FREE Mehendi Workshop Must be at least 12 years old Registration Required Mehndi is the Indian name for Henna, a temporary dye used to decorate the skin. It has been part of the culture and fashion of India, Pakistan and Arab countries for centuries. Mehndi art is the art of applying Henna paste to the skin and creating a design. This art has recently made its way to Europe and the United States, and has begun to take the place of tattooing; in part, because it is safe and not permanent. It lasts for two to three weeks on the skin and then it fades away.
