An extraordinary spiritual leader comes to Boston on Monday June 6th for her first public appearance here in ten years. What is Enlightenment? Magazine says of Dadi Janki: Transcending established norms of religion, society and culture, Dadi Janki has taken universal spiritual truths, worked with them in the laboratory of her own life, and translated them into practical tools for improving the human condition. Dadi Janki is a member of the United Nations Wisdom Keepers, a group of eminent spiritual leaders convened at large UN gatherings to provide a spiritual perspective on critical areas of concern in the world. During this evening, Dadi Janki will be receiving the Courage of Conscience Award from The Peace Abbey for her 70 years of humanitarian work which includes extensive travel enabling leaders from the worlds of politics, religion, medicine, science, and education as well as individuals at every level of society to absorb spiritual strength. Dadi Janki is the co-administrative head of the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University.
Dadi Janki was declared the world's most stable mind after extensive tests of her brain and cognitive function at the University of Texas Medical School. She has more than 70 years of profound meditation experience. Through her powerful but subtle presence, Dadi (meaning elder sister) is able to transform peaceless minds.
