2ND ANNUAL CAREER ROUNDTABLE AND SOCIAL
2:30-3:00 Registration/Ice breaker/Introductions
3:00-3:45 Panelists Intro (5-7 minutes/panelist)
3:45-4:30 Break out sessions for one-on-one discussion
Project Impact and SAMTA will host a session for high school students to meet South Asian professionals who will discuss a range of exciting careers, such as law, medicine, engineering, arts & humanities, journalism, education, business, and culinary arts. Student will have the opportunity to:
* Meet professionals who represent a range of fields
* Learn about the educational paths for various careers and respective salary ranges
* Engage in breakout sessions to hear more about specific careers, to conduct informational interviews,
and to network
The Career Roundtable will be followed by a social event, where food and refreshments will be served.
