Innisai Mazhai (Music Monsoon) / Fund Raising Concert
The musicians are part of Rasika, a group that specializes in Indian light music. Rasika was formed in 1994 and has grown significantly since then performing in several American cities, frequently to benefit charitable causes.
The OPEN-Rasika concert will feature songs in Tamizh, since OPEN is primarily focusing on schools in Tamil Nadu currently.
OPEN is a non-profit organisation devoted to providing education for poor children in India. OPEN has been recognised as such by the IRS and all contributions are tax deductible to the extent permitted by IRS.
