Memorial Service for Prof. Norman Dahl (MIT/IIT Kanpur)
Dr.Norman Dahl, who together with Dr P.K. Kelkar, helped to start the Indian Institute of Technology at Kanpur, died at age 85,of Alzheimer's disease on Jan 11. (See obituary in Boston Globe,Jan 23). Dr Dahl was Professor of Mechanical engineering at M.I.T. Dr Dahl was in residence at IITK from 1962- 1964. A memorial gathering is being held to pay tribute to Dr. Dahl. All are welcome.
