Swami Vivekananda and Indian Renaissance / Swami Yogatmananda
India\'\s greatness was much maligned and diminished through centuries of internal rivalries and foreign rule when Sri Ramakrishna arrived on the scene as a Spiritual Master. Swami Vivekananda, directed by the Master, took upon himself the task of helping rejuvenating India and mobilizing her people towards a path of strength, wisdom and freedom. Swamiji became a bridge between ancient and modern, combining the east and the west, science and religion. We will examine his contributions and the relevance of his message in the present-day world.
