An Evening With Prasanna and Tom Ross
The program will feature a traditional Carnatic set by guitarist Prasanna, accompanied by Santhanakrishnan Mahalingam on mridangam, followed by a set of 'global jazz songs' by singer/songwriter/guitarist Tom Ross in a duo setting with Prasanna. Songs will be primarily from Tom's 'The Rain takes off her clothes' a CD which features Tom's original songs along with music set to the poetry of Pablo Neruda, Emily Dickinson, W.S.Merwin, George Herriman etc.
