On the way to Bollywood: Indian Modern Dance
Brand New Bollywood Dance Class!! Brookline Community Center for the Arts Wednesdays 6:30-7:30pm July 16-September 3, 2003 On the way to Bollywood: Indian Modern Dance Bollywood, India’s equivalent of Hollywood, is the largest film industry in the world. Out of this industry has emerged a new genre of Indian dance that is a fusion of many other styles, including Western hip-hop, Indian folk, and Indian classical forms. In this class students will learn upbeat dance moves as well as fun choreography to some of the latest Indian film songs. No prior experience is necessary, and both men and women are welcome!
