Diwali Fest
Come and celebrate with traditional fervor, devotion and huge crowd. LARGER SPACE (1000 people capacity), LONGER TIME and BIGGER CELEBRATION Please mark your calendar and save the date, Sat Oct 25th from 5:30 - 10:00 pm Diwali Celebration in Malden MA. Last year it was so much fun, we were graced by the presence of Mr. Mayor Gary Christenson from Malden town. Even this year we will have MAYOR of Malden City Gary Christenson as a chief guest for this occassion. Agenda (Subject to small changes): 5:30-6:00 Welcome/Puja/Bhajans 6:00-7:00 Shloka recitation & Dance/Children Fancy Dress 7:00-7:30 Quiz Competition/Cultural Show 7:30-8:00 Diwali /Govardhana/Annakuta 8:30-9:00 Pushpa Abhishek / Aarti 9:00-10:00 Food Location : Malden High School, Jenkins Auditorium, 77 Salem St, Malden MA (Near India Bazaar Grocery Store, 4 blocks from Malden Center T Station) Plenty of free parking is available at the venue. There is ample free parking on premises and off street parking. Fancy Dress for Kids. If you have kids, make sure they’re dressed in fancy dress.
