Workshop on Indian Classical Music
A lecture demonstration by Sri Lalgudi Jayaraman a legendary musician of the Carnatic style (South India). This workshop will focus on the co-evolution of ragas in the two traditions of Indian Classical Music - Carnatic and Hindustani. The evening should be of interest to musicians, students, and audiences of classical music.
