Ekal Vidyalaya - ATFS Math Bee Contest

Ekal Vidyalaya and ATFS Learning Center are joining hands on May 3rd to create an opportunity for children of grade 2 - 11 to participate in MATH BEE and also help spread the light of education to the under privileged in  rural and tribal India. This Math Contest is open to children of grades 2 – 11 and will be held in 2 separate locations at the same time on May 3rd, 2014. This will be written test containing 60 multiple choice grade appropriate questions. The children will have exactly 60 minutes to solve them without the assistance of calculators. Winners will be declared the same day.

*Harvard/MIT/Yale students will discuss preparation for college while families wait for results to be declared

*Prizes include Trophies and Mentorship from Harvard/MIT/Yale Students

*All participants will win a certificate for community service

Date: May 3rd, 2014

Time: 10:00 a.m

Locations: Tufts University and Fitchburg State University

Grade Levels: Level 1 (grades 2 and 3) , Level 2 (Grades 4 and 5), Level 3 (Grades 6, 7 and 8), Level 4 (grades 9, 10 and 11)

About ATFS Learning Center: ATFS Learning center is a homework help program building the academic foundation of kids K-12,through their after school and private tutoring programs. Located in Shrewsbury , MA ATFS has been a preferred tutoring center for over 12 years and has been running the Math Bee for the past 9 years and is proudly partnering with Ekal Vidyalaya this year to make this a benefit contest for supporting education of underprivileged children of rural and tribal India
