Deepika Padukone, who was on a roll with one hit performance after another in 2013, is jealous of another actress! She is in awe of Kangana Ranaut's work in the recently released "Queen". "I have seen 'Queen' and I am jealous of her performance, I think she was outstanding," the 28-year-old said at the HT Mumbai Most Stylish Awards. Deepika also praised "Queen" director Vikas Bahl for portraying a woman's emotions so beautifully.

After remaining dormant for almost 2 years, the ghost of Taj brawl has once again unleashed itself and has returned to haunt Chote Nawab Saif Ali Khan. According to recent reports pertaining to the assault case, where Saif allegedly punched NRI businessman Iqbal Sharma in 2012 after the latter asked him and his group to talk softer, the actor has been booked under Section 325 (voluntarily causing grievous hurt) and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the IPC. Trial against Saif who pleaded not guilty today in front of honourable court will begin on April 30.  While defending Saif, his lawyer Mohan Jaykar put forth the plea that, it was Iqbal Sharma's use of filthy language and abusing the women accompanying Saif, which compelled the actor to lose his temper.

Vidya Balan took very little time to accept 'Bobby Jasoos' as she found the idea of a female detective in Hindi cinema new and interesting. The 36-year-old actress, last seen on the big screen opposite Farhan Akhtar in 'Shaadi Ke Side Effects', says the film, produced by Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha, was a fun-ride. 'Bobby Jasoos' marks the directorial debut of Samar Shaikh. "I never imagined that someone will make a film about a female detective. It was an exciting idea and I connected to the story instinctively. It is the least time I have ever taken to say yes to a story," Vidya told PTI in an interview.  The spy-thriller genre is dominated by men in both Hollywood and Bollywood with women being relegated to either playing the sidekick or glamour add-ons so Vidya did not have much of a reference point to portray the part.

For one reason or another, the film Roy has been in the news all along. To begin with, its first look was released in August last year with most people having no clue about the film. Also surprising was Ranbir Kapoor's presence in the film. To add to it, the film has been dogged by constant delays in its shooting schedule. Initially, the film was supposed to release on June 20 this year. But due to the unavailability of actors, the film got postponed. During this time, speculation was rife that the film has been shelved. Then there were rumours about Ranbir not giving any dates for the film. Recently, director Vikramaditya Singh told a newspaper that the film features a song sung by Yo Yo Honey Singh that will be soon picturised on lead actor Ranbir Kapoor. But soon after, the singer clarified on a social networking site that he is not recording any song for the film. All these troubles notwithstanding, the film is set to go on the floors by the end of this month. Says producer Bhushan Kumar, `We will start shooting for the film by the end of the month. First, we will shoot in Mumbai till mid-May after which Ranbir will join the shoot in June. We will wrap up the shoot by July.`

Salman Khan has hinted at a possibility of getting hitched by the end of this year as he is tired of being single for a long time. The 48-year-old 'Jai Ho' star, who was at his funniest best at last evening's India Today Conclave 2014, did not rule out the chances of marrying Romanian beauty Iulia Vantur, whom he is allegedly dating for quite sometime. "Now I'm in transit period and I like it. From the age of 15, I did not get a transit period. For the first time, I have such a chance to sigh. I am sighing more since it has been two-and-a-half years. It's time to stop sighing because something soon will happen in my life... "I follow humanity. I follow Islam, Christianity, and follow right thing as much I can. I have been kind of blessed. Father is Pathan, mother is Hindu, second mother is catholic, and brother-in-law is Punjabi. Wife, I am thinking to bring from outside...," Salman said. Salman has often been linked with his co-stars and also being termed as a 'possessive' boyfriend. He admitted that he was a miserable lover but a great friend.
