Sampat Pal the leader of Gulabi Gang, seeks credit from the makers of 'Gulaab Gang', while the latter insists that their film is a work of fiction. Ad 'Gulaab Gang' gears up for release on March 7, it is being said that the film is based on Sampat Pal's life, which has already been captured in the documentary, 'Gulabi Gang'. However, Soumik Sen, director of 'Gulaab Gang', denies this. "The film is not inspired from any real-life story as it is a work of fiction. So the question of giving credit to anyone doesn't arise," he says. Sampat PalOn the other hand, Gulabi Gang leader Sampat Pal tells HitList that she has seen the film's promos. "How can the makers say that their film is a work of fiction? It's our story and Madhuri Dixit is playing me in the film. If it is not my story, I want to ask them which other women's gang do they know of in the country? Why don't they just accept that their film takes inspiration from my life and take my permission to show it? I would have no issues with them then," says Pal, who has already filed a case against the makers of 'Gulaab Gang' in the Delhi High Court.

Zahid Khan has been Saif Ali Khan's business manager for quite some time now but if recent rumors are to be believed, the former has just been shown the door. It is being said that two days ago, Saif Ali Khan had a major argument with his business manager, after which the actor fired him.This is not the first time they have had a fight. Apparently, Zahid Khan wants to be a producer and has been difficult to deal with. Interestingly, Zahid started out as Karisma Kapoor's manager after which he worked as Kareena's business manager as well. Post Kareena and Saif's marriage, he began working as the latter's manager too. Interestingly, Zahid was earlier managing Sonakshi Sinha who has also let him go.

Actress Juhi Chawla says there is "no strain" in her friendship with Shah Rukh Khan and that the superstar would be there for her whenever she needs him.  There have been reports of the two no longer being good friends. But, Juhi insists their friendship is strong, contrary to reports "It (friendship) is not strained or anything. With our growing lives, schedules we get busy. Like today Madhuri Dixit and I are working for a film because our work has brought us together. Then she will be busy with 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa' and I will be busy with my work. How and when we will meet next we don't know," Juhi told PTI. "If I need something and I call Shah Rukh, I know I will get through him in an instant but I will not trouble him, because I know he is very busy, so I really need not take his time," she said.

The actress has an emotional connect with the country where she is soon headed, for the premiere of her film 'Highway' at the Berlin festival.Imtiaz Ali's film 'Highway', that stars Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda, will have its world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival on February 14. While Alia and Hooda are understandably excited about the trip, Alia has another reason to look forward to the Berlin visit.The actress reveals that her grandparents hail from Germany and this being her first trip to Berlin, it holds a special significance. Says the actress, `I have a rather emotional and unique connection with Berlin and for me, it's just incredible that 'Highway' is premiering there. Not many know this but my grandmother is a German and was born there.''

Bhojpuri actor files FIR against Daisy Shah, choreographer Ganesh Acharya, director V K Singh and 18 other crewmembers from the film 'Soda', as they are 'are out to kill him'If Bhojpuri actor Satyendra Singh is to be believed, actress Daisy Shah, choreographer Ganesh Acharya, director V K Singh and 18 other crewmembers from the film 'Soda', are out to kill him. At least that's what the First Information Report (FIR) filed by him in Uttar Pradesh states. The actor, also the president of the now dissolved political party Rashtrawadi Samajwadi Party, has filed a case against the trio, among others, in Uttar Pradesh's Mainpuri district.
