Krystal Kallarackal, a recently bridged Ambassador Girl Scout from troop 77135, completed her Girl Scout Gold Award in September. Krystal, who graduated from Lincoln Sudbury High School with the class of 2013 and is currently a first year student at Boston University, planned and ran a Blood Drive for Boston Children's Hospital Bloodmobile. Recent personal experience led Krystal to recognize the vital need for blood donations, especially in the summer. She decided to plan a blood drive for August, but also decided to use her interest in film making to create a documentary to encourage future donations and explode myths about blood donation. The drive was held at Our Lady Of Fatima Church, Sudbury on August 10th.  About 30 donors were screened for donations that day.  After the drive she combined video footage from the drive with interviews of Blood Donation Professionals to create a lasting tool to encourage people to become blood donors.  The link to the documentary is below.
