Actress Sonakshi Sinha, who will be soon seen in "R...Rajkumar", says she hopes to gift the film as a birthday present to her actor-politician father Shatrughan Sinha. "Each year some film releases. I hope I give him a huge and big 'dhamakedaar' present this year in the form of 'R... Rajkumar'," Sonakshi told reporters during the film's music launch. "R...Rajkumar" will hit the screens Dec 6. Her father's birthday falls on Dec 9. Directed by Prabhudheva, the film also features Shahid Kapoor.

The superhero flick starring Hrithik Roshan has collected a staggering Rs 108.68 crore in its first four days Rakesh Roshan has not yet made any celebration plans for the record-breaking collections of his film Krrish 3. In her statement to the police, lodged in a court as part of the FIR in the case, Malayalam actress Shweta Menon had claimed the Congress MP, N Peethambara Kurup, started touching her and grasped her hand as soon as she alighted from the car last Friday. Malayalam cine actor Shweta Menon, who chose not to proceed further after accusing a Congress MP of molesting her, had claimed in her statement to the police that she was repeatedly touched by him.

Actress Kareena Kapoor, who is rumoured to have been roped in to play writer Amrita Pritam in a biopic on legendary Urdu poet Sahir Ludhianvi, says she is still reading the script of the project. The film is reportedly based on the romance between Ludhianvi and Pritam. Ludhianvi's role is said to have been taken on by Farhan Akhtar."I have got the script of this film and I am still reading it. I have liked it so far, so let's see," Kareena told IANS.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who has lent his unique baritone to many hit Bollywood tracks, considers himself a mediocre singer. "I can't sing that well, I haven't even learnt it. I do it when some people ask me to sing. Due to modern technology today one can sing in tune. And with the help of it I have sung songs," said Bachchan, who has sung memorable songs like 'Rang Barse', 'Mere Angane Mein' and Neela Aasmaan' in his films. The 71-year-old actor attended the launch of Saregama India Limited's ghazal album 'Destiny' l. The album features songs by legendary singers Anup Jalota, Talat Aziz, Pankaj Udhas, and Sumeet Tapoo. "I would urge everyone to hear this beautiful album. It will give you all a lot of peace and a good sleep as well," Bachchan said. "I am thankful to be here. Anoop Jalota has contributed tremendously to the world of music. We have had a close relation with Pankaj Udhas. I have liked Talat Aziz's songs," he added.
