10 years in the making.  This will be the 10^th anniversary of the Boston Bhangra Competition.  SOLD OUT for the last 9 years…3,000 person attendance….the best teams from North America & Canada…advertising and promotion on international television via TV ASIA.  This is what you will get from the 10^th annual Boston Bhangra Competition.  It looks like Boston Bhangra has found a niche market where they have been able to get some of the best teams from North America, some great live performing artists and cheap tickets to keep this an event on the up and up.  This year should be no different.

The Boston Bhangra Competition, called BBC for short, will be hosted on November 16^th, 2013 at the Orpheum Theatre.  The event has been sold out every year at one of the most historical theatres in Boston, which is located at 1 Hamilton Place in Boston, MA.  The capacity is close to 3,000 people, and they hope to sell out for the 10^th straight year. 

This year, the competition will have teams from all over the US and Canada.  They will have teams from locations as far west as California, and as close as Boston.  States represented include California, Texas, Illinois, Virginia, North Carolina, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Toronto Canada and of course Boston, MA. These teams have consistently done well in many competitions, and they will once again make it difficult on the judges.

To add even more excitement to the event, Boston Bhangra will have special performances by India-based Bhangra superstar G. Sharmilla and Canadian based youtube sensation Jus Reign!  Sharmilla has created hits like: Sat Sri Akal, Assi Haan Punjabi, Zindabad, Akh Da Nishana and many more!  You will also hear the jokes and fun filled commentary from Jus Reign, as he’s posed to become one of the biggest South Asian comedians in North America!

Passage to India will be the food vendor of choice as they will be serving snacks, dinner and drinks at the venue, so come hungry so that you can enjoy their fantastic food!

TV Asia, Jhankar, Sounds of India and India New England will be the official media sponsors, helping to promote the competition nationally, and internationally. 

Overall, this is a huge year for the Boston Bhangra Competition, as it will be their 10^th anniversary! You don’t want to miss all the action! Ticket prices will range in price from $20 for general admission through $40 for VIP.  There are even $100 VVIP tickets if you want to watch Bhangra in style! This is very cheap for a show of this caliber that will be highlighted with more than 3 hours of exciting bhangra from some of the best teams in North America!
