Featuring the vibrant and evocative traditions of the North Indian Thar Desert, Rhythm of Rajasthan showcases the spellbinding music of the Langa and Manganiar communities along with stunning Kalbelia dance. The colorful six-member ensemble consists of five musicians and a dancer who offer a visceral, hypnotic performance of music, dance and poetry.

The last time the group performed in the Boston area was in Jan. 2011. It is not often that one gets to hear such traditional folk music from India. It was a great treat for the audience.
