The South Asian identity was closely questioned in two recent incidents in marked different ways. Is it time to deeply think of who we are as a community? -We are talking of Nina Davuluri, Miss America and Dr. Prabhjot Singh ironically both from New York. 

While we believe that we need to exist in peaceful co-existence, how does we counter hatred, misunderstanding and misinterpretation of forces that are ignorant?
