Kaasinath, a student of Gaurish Chandrashekar of Grafton, MA, won the second prize for Mridangam at the CMANA 2013 . Kaasinath has been learning mridangam for the past 5 years. His other accomplishments include winning competitions in Cleveland 2013, CMANA 2012 and Cleveland 2011. Kaasinath also performed at the esteemed "Sunday Kutcheri in the park" accompanying a upcoming singer from Muscat, in Chennai this August. He contributes his success to his Guru's blessings and Teachings.
