PROBLEM #1
Ten thousand sailors are arranged around the edge of their ship. Starting with the first one, every other sailor is pushed overboard until they are all gone. Where would you be standing to be the last survivor?

A hiker is hiking up a 12 degrees slope. If he hikes at a contant rate of 3 mph, how much altitude does he gain in 5 hours of hiking?
