She is from Varanasi, but Shanvi Srivastav is quite popular in southern films and now yearns to play rural characters that are contrary to her real personality. "I need to be open to different roles. While I've played city-bred characters in my first two films, I really look forward to play a rural south Indian girl in the future. I want to play roles that are contrary to my personality and ethnicity," Shanvi told IANS. She recently completed shooting for her second Telugu project "Adda", in which she is paired opposite Sushant. "I still remember when Sushant, my co-star, asked me how will I manage if I were to play a typical rural south Indian girl? I told him that deep within me lies a cute south Indian girl, who is always ready to drape a half-sari and pose two 'chotis', if needed," she added.

Harman Baweja may have disappeared from the Bollywood radars of late but all eyes were on the actor at a recent awards ceremony in Canada. The event that was attended by industry bigwigs saw Harman sharing a warm embrace with his rumoured ex Priyanka Chopra. Post their break-up a few years ago, it was the first time that the two were seen in such close proximity. A source says, `During the awards ceremony both PC and Harman came face to face and unlike other estranged couples, they hugged each other warmly. This was probably the first time they were under the same roof after working together in What's Your Rashee?` Rumours go that while the actor's sister Roweena and Priyanka continue to remain friends, Harman and she had not spoken in a long time. `The hug sent across a message that all is well between the two and that they have buried the hatchet. Both of them have clearly moved on in life, ` adds the source.
