Celestial Minds, New England’s favourite Chess training center, is proud to host USCF rated New England Junior Open Chess Championship on Sunday, April 20, 2013 at Radisson, Nashua, NH. Kavyashree Mallanna, whose brainchild Celestial Minds is an offshoot of Prema Chess Lab, named after her mother Prof. Premleela Mallanna, is delighted that the USCF rated NE Junior championship event, that is officially approved by New England Chess Association is happening on the 10th year anniversary of Prema Chess Lab.
Celestial Minds has established itself as one of the best chess training centers of New England with its students winning several scholastic events. Suhas Katikaneni, Kaival Shah, Akhil Kammila and Sanjana Kunnikuru emerged as Winners while Anish Kammila, Samarth Shah, Shreyas Pedda, Saadvhi Raghav and Anirudh Bachiraju also took the top four spots in NH Scholastic events; Celestial Minds students also won the Scholastic Team Chess event making the community very proud.Celestial Minds is also affiliated to USCF and will be running more rated events giving the local talents more platforms to gain experience and exposure.
Kavyashree Mallanna has secured a place among FIDE organizers in the upcoming organizer's forum. Upcoming NE Junior Open Championship is very prestigious title and platform for upcoming talents. Kavya hopes that such championship titles will help to shape children's academic career. She is glad that Chess is getting the well deserved attention. Thanks to chess community she has built over a decade.
Celestial Minds invites all K to 12 categories of players to compete in this NE Junior Open Chess Championship and of course, all chess enthusiasts are more than welcome.
