Aardhya Bachchan is one now and the former beauty queen and Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan gearing up for her second innings in Bollywood. The mother who was highly criticized for her post pregnancy flab is now taking out time for yoga sessions. Aishwarya is getting back into shape to resume acting. She once said in an interview that she is reading scripts and hopefully she might is back soon. An industry insider says, "She has resumed her regular yoga sessions. She was never known to be a person who would work out in a gym. She prefers yoga. She is also doing a bit of functional training at home."

It is unbelievable but it is true that Bollywood closest and exemplary buddies filmmaker Karan Johar and superstar Shahrukh Khan are no longer friends. They have broken their friendship and the reason best known to them. Actress Alia Bhatt, who plays a Tamilian girl in 2 States, is not just trying to pick the accent but is also learning the typical household culture of a Tamil home. She is going out of her way to fit the bill as a Tamil Iyengar girl for the movie, based on Chetan Bagat's novel "2 States: The Story of My Marriage". The story is about a Punjabi boy who falls in love with a Tamil girl, and the ensuing cultural clashes between them and their families. A source close to Alia, the daughter of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, reveals, "She is learning the Tamil culture and tradition. She has also hired a special Tamilian teacher who will help her to adapt the south Indian culture."

Bollywood megastar Amitab Bachchan and actress Vidya Balan have been named PETA's hottest celebrity vegetarians of 2012. The other names in the running were Miss India Neha Dhupia, actor Shahid Kapoor, Sonu Sood, southern star Dhanush, Kareena Kapoor and veteran actress Hema Malini.

Bachchan, 70, has been named the hottest vegetarian celebrity three times in the past and even won the crown in PETA Asia's equivalent contest last year. Balan, who has won the crown in 2010, too has often credited her curves to her meat-free diet, saying, "I am a vegetarian, as a result my metabolism has improved and this is a huge contributor to weight loss." More and more of India's hottest stars are choosing to keep meat off their plates and when you look at Amitabh and Vidya, it is easy to see why," said Poorva Joshipura, CEO, PETA India.
