New England Shirdi Sai Parivaar (NESSP) conducted its 1st ever Annual Kids Academic Competition on Saturday Dec. 15th at Sai Community Center 290, Littleton Road, Chelmsford, MA.  The aim of this event was to inspire and encourage our children to participate in various competitions which help them to excel and succeed in their chosen endeavors.

This event provided opportunity for young children and youth to practice and participate in various academic competitions like Chess, Vocabulary bee, Geography bee and Essay Writing.  The unique value proposition of the event is “Charity towards the community”. NESSP requested the participants to donate clothes, shoes, nonperishable food  etc. towards the participation fees. All the goods collected from the donation will be distributed  to needy people through our partner organizations like Lowell Homeless shelter, Youth villages, Cradle to Crayons etc.  Over 150 children participated in the whole day activities. Highlight of the event was seminar by Sri Anil Saigal on PREPARING FOR COLLEGE ADMISSIONS. The seminar is geared towards providing information on how to prepare for college admissions and better understand the whole process.  More than hundred parents actively participated in the seminar. This was very useful for all the parents and students in middle/high school. Sri Anil Saigal spoke for about 1 hour and followed by another hour of Q&A session.  Many parents requested to conduct these seminars on regular basis which will help other parents and students who could not make it to this session. We got lot of positive feedback from the participants and parents. Here are a couple of quotes:

Why not choose cheap replica watches from our online shop?

“Hearty congratulations to all the NESSP volunteers who worked tirelessly in seeing this event come through.  It is yet another feather in NESSP's cap.” - Shridhar Mysore

“It was a excellent program and also well - coordinated efforts by NESSP. Thanks to NESSP to giving this great opportunity for all kids to deliver their skills.” – Ramesh

â€œThank you for organizing the entire day's events with such rhythmic precision. Expectations were exceeded, in the first hour itself, when the schedule got started off, right "on schedule". Advait enjoyed participating in the event, as much as practicing for it.

My humble suggestion is to carry on your good work, by making such events / practice sessions, a regular feature. Specifically - form a “Chess league” and have the kids meet regularly.” – Nagendranath
