Meet Dr Java Joshi, an artist in Lexington, whose recent collection is based on the theme of "Indian Village". "I was always fascinated with the simplicity and serenity of rural lifestyle whenever I visited villages as a child in India. It was always in my mind to someday get those lifestyles and habitats on canvas". Currently her work is on display at LexMedia Studio (Lexington Community Media Center) until mid-July.

Lokvani Talks To Ravijit Paintal
On August 4th, Ravijit Paintal will begin his two day bike ride along with thousands of other riders to raise funds for cancer research. His ride will begin at Sturbridge and end at Provincetown, a 192 miles journey. This is Ravi’s sixth year taking on the Pan -Mass Challenge (PMC), a bike-a-thon for charity.
