After much ado about former Yash Chopra heroine Kajol's no-show at the premiere of Jab Tak Hai Jaan,  the real reason behind her conspicuous absence  roots in the times when hubby Ajay Devgn's Bol Bachchan was in the making.  Kajol was extremely upset that Yash Raj Films had demanded Rs 5 lakh from Ajay as a charge to reuse a certain section of their famous Kajra Re song, especially since she had done numerous appearances and cameos in their films free of charge. A source adds, `Initially Ajay agreed to pay the amount. However, YRF then hiked the sum to Rs 25 lakh for the 90-second sequence. Ajay was upset and so was Kajol. Ajay later consoled her saying it was all part of the business.`

One of the busiest actresses in Bollywood today, Deepika is currently working on three movies simultaneously, one of which is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The grapevine on the Deepika and Ranveer dating story started as the actors are spending considerable time for their workshops.  Known to be a perfectionist, Bhansali has set up a workshop to train the lead pair on various techniques that reportedly takes up 15 to 18 hours a day. Under such rigorous training regiment, it would be very difficult for both the actors to have any personal time, let alone spend time dating.

When called to inaugurate the 41st International Film Festival Of India in Goa   Akshay Kumar had only two demands, a two- minute silence for his late father-in-law at the inaugural event, and a BMW 7-Series to ply him around in Panaji during his stay. One knows Akshay wishes the world to share in his reverence for his legendary Sasurji, hence the 2-minute silence. But one isn't sure why he would desire an expensive car. Perhaps to feel and look important? `But he has a fleet of cars back home. Surely a BMW is not a status symbol for star of Akshay's stature?` asked one of the puzzled invitees at the Festival.

While most of our celebs are satisfied with posting tweets on their favourite topics and condole deaths of well-known personalities, Amitabh Bachchan has gone a step ahead and has used the online medium to enlighten and inform us.  Recently, it was Big B who cleared the air over Pran's health tweeting: 'Paid a visit to Pran Saheb in hospital.. he is fine.. spent an hour with him joking and talking of times past and present..' He also added, 'All those making speculative remarks on Pran Saheb being critical.. get your facts right before going public.. most irresponsible'. Bachchan's tweet on the late Bal Thackeray was also touching. 'When I fought for my life after 'Coolie' accident, he came to visit me in hospital, with a cartoon he had drawn - Yamraj defeated!, ' Big B revealed.
