Music Review - Ajab Gazabb Love

Boom Boom is all about rhythm. A fun and upbeat song, reminiscent of Subah Hone Di from Desi Boyz. Mika Singh's over-enthusiastic singing in hi-pitch suits the mood to the hilt and grooves with equally thumping arrangements. It is truly a beach party affair! For all party-animals, 'Boom Boom (remix)' is invigorating and refreshing. It takes the hip-hop dance feel to the higher gears and makes the mood more fervent and electric. Chartbuster!!!

Tu - a sweet romantic number by Mohit Chauhan is an amalgam of "R & B" and soul. Mohit Chauhan suits the romantic mode of the song. Kausir Munir's simplistically expressive lyrics ties in well with song. The changing instrumentation in the background keeps the song interesting while the voice and beat have a consistent feel through the song.

'Nachde Punjabi', a scintillating ethnical folk 'bhangra' beat soundtrack is quite an unadulterated Bhangara track.  Dalvinder Singh's folksy earthen voice delivers  and works in tandem with ethnically drawn instrumentals  like the Dhol. Sukhjit Thandi's mischievously cheerful wordings elate the festive mood and gel well with the decorum, a perfect number for DJ's.

Tender-soft romantic blues in 'Sun Sohniye' with the lovely guitar strings in the background give it a Spanish touch.  Mohammad Irfan's suave vocals in low octaves come as a refreshing piece of surprise that connects amiably with Antara Mitra's silken voice.   Overall a decent sounding romantic track . 'Sun Sohniye (remix)' changes the mood completely and comes more like a commercially viable musical piece. Catered to perfection for discotheque, it comes in typical 'club-remix' maneuvers and mixes the vocals with an aggressive set of beat-juggles and DJ claps.

AJAB GAZABB LOVE is funky, energizing but concisely packed upbeat musical entertainer.
