Navaratri is the single most important festival in any Devi temple. Navaratri / Durga-Puja is being celebrated at Sree Vijaya Durga Temple from October 15 to 24, 2012.

Sree Vijaya Durga Temple was started by Sri.Tejasvi Sastry and Smt Vijayasree Putcha under Sri Siddha Lalitha Peetham one and half years ago on April 8th 2011 under the divine blessings of HH Sri Siddheswaraananda Bharathi Swamiji of Coutrallam, TN, India. Sree Vijaya Durga Temple celebrated its first annual celebrations in April 2012. Sri. Tejasvi Sastry is the main priest at the temple.

This year we are blessed to have our peetha guru HH Sri Sri Sri Siddheswaraananda Bharathi Swamiji of Siddheshwari Peetham, TN, India visit us during Navaratri. Sri Swamiji will deliver spiritual discourse from 19th to 24th everyday from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. The discourse will be in English.

“Sri Siddheswaraananda Bharathi Swamiji is a great Kali Bhaktha, Upasaka and Maha Mantra Siddha of Kali mata” says Sri.Tejasvi Sastry. Those interested in seeking any Mantra or would like to meet with Sri. Swamiji may please contact the temple at 1-781-369-5254.
      
The alankar of the Devi portrays the different characteristics that the deity possesses. The darshan of the deity alankar during Navaratri is special and help us energize those characteristics that are embedded in all of us. Below is the summary of the events during Navaratri.
•    Chandi Path parayan
•    Chandi Havan
•    Spiritual discourse by Sri. Swamiji everyday from 19th to 24th at 6:30 pm (in English)
•    Anjali/Puja/Arati to Devi everyday
•    Special Alankar Archana to Devi everyday
•    Daily Durga arati
•    Garba dance
•    Bharatanatyam Dance presentation
