PROBLEM # 1
The velocity of a falling object is a linear function of the time t it has been falling. If v = 20 when t = 0 and v = 53 when t = 11, what is v when t = 20?
The figure below shows a triangle ABC with the median BD such that angle A = 3(angle C), and angle ADB = 45 degrees. What is angle C?

During long distance flights, the outside temperature at an altitude of 33,000 ft is about -40oF. What is the temperature in oC?
SOLUTION 1
-40oC.
What is the volume bounded by z=0, z = x2 + y2 and x2 + y2 =1?
pi/2.
