After the super success of Bodyguard's music, Himesh Reshammiya, who gave 36 hits in a single year, brings us Dangerous Ishhq. The opening number convinces us that Reshammiya still has the ability to bring out chart busters. The opening number 'Tu Hi Rab Tu Hi Dua', sung by the quintessential king of romantic melodies: Rahat Fateh Ali Khan who is also joined in by Tulsi Kumar is a number, which has great potential. The lyrics come alive with the sound of the piano wafting through one feels the power of the song.

Next is 'Naina Re', which is a pleasant hit with soft lyrics and power packed voices of Himesh Reshammiya, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Shreya Ghoshal.  Himesh experiments with a qawalli number, 'Ishq Mein Ruswaa' that is slightly unusual. It's   and debutant singer Anweshaa is wonderful. It is a rather simple number but touching.  Amrita Kak, who has chartbusters like 'Just Chill' and 'Character Dheela' to her credit, sings a different note with the song 'Umeed'. Joined in by lyricists Shahab Sabri, it's a decent attempt at fusing a somewhat rock track with an Indian edginess to it.

Shahab Sabri sets the pace for 'Lagan Lagi More Piya' where Shreya Ghoshal also lends her melodious voice. This is a happy love song that borders more on a classical Indian tune.

Of the remixes, only  'Umeed' stands out. 'Naina Re' and 'Tu Hi Rab, Tu Hi Dua' (R&B Remix), get lost in the mix.

All in all, 'Tu Hi Rab Tu Hi Dua' and 'Naina Re' are the obvious favorites and will be chartbusters for a while. Youngsters may even enjoy the remix versions that are sure to be dished out in nightclubs but the music of this album hinges somewhere between average and hit.
