Continuing the mission to promote Hindi language and propagate art in the community, New England Hindi Manch NEHM proudly presents two short plays in Hindi titled as ‘Bin Bulaye Mehmaan’ and ‘Thief Police’. There will be two shows one on Dec10th, Saturday at Southborough, MA and another on Dec11th, Sunday at Chelmsford, MA.

Thief Police: A quintessential experience in all our memories is riding a train in India. Travelling among people of varying backgrounds, values and opinions makes the journey more  interesting  and sometimes hilarious. But what if this scenario is conjured up by the famous playright Vijay Tendulkar and the characters include a thief, a capitalist and a beautiful woman? See Thief Police to find out!

Bin Bulaye Mehmaan: A man's home is his castle. This is one place where he can shed his worries, relax and feel comfortable and secure. What happens when a family  comes  face to face with an interloper who is making full use of their abode with impunity?See  the sparks and laughs fly with Bin Bulaye Mehmaan!

A dedicated team of members and volunteers of the organization have been working hard to deliver the best theatrical event and fantastic evening to the theatre and Hindi loving audience.

The audience applause and laughter took centerstage during last December’s Hindi natak ‘Ballabhpur ki Roopkatha’  directed by Mr.Mohan Dali who also directed short plays ‘Paagal’ and ‘Calendar Ka Chakkar’ which were shown in May 2011. Some comments were “I laughed hysterically after a long time”, “I haven’t watched a Hindi play for ages, it brought back so many memories”, “The play seems to be a professional production with excellent performers”, “The play was amazing and Mohanji delivered performances from the artists that surpasses even their own expectations”.

NEHM New England Hindi Manch is a non-profit organization whose aim is to bring people who know Hindi or who want to know Hindi together by cultural, social and educational programs and activities and to propagate Hindi language and culture in the future. Preetesh Shrivastava, the president of the organization comments “Our organization works in a team to keep HIndi language (and all its dialects) alive and celebrate the cultural context and history of the language while keeping an aye on its contemporary role and development. We welcome people of all regions, religions and languages to join us and become members of NEHM”
 
Hindi Manch plays are well known to have creative sets, well crafted props and local talented actors and performers who can bind the audience throughout the story. ‘Laughter is the best medicine’ so mark your calendars Dec 10th and Dec11th are the dates, venue will be announced soon, show your love for Hindi and theatre and enjoy an evening full of laughter with friends and family.
