Shaadi Bazaar Holds Its 2nd Annual Bridal Show

Nirmala Garimella

Sayjal Patidar and Amita Patel are the principal organizers of Shaadi Bazaar. The 2nd Annual Shaadi Bazaar Bridal Show is on September 18th at the Boston Marriott Quincy Hotel and the organizers are excited to welcome couples and their friends and families to this fabulous event. Over 20 vendors will be ready to showcase their talents and meet prospective brides and grooms. Our show creates a stress free wedding planning process for wedding couples and their families.

What can visitors expect from this year's show?
Shaadi Bazaar is an all-inclusive bridal show with every vendor a bride needs to plan their dream wedding. A wedding couple could essentially plan their wedding in one day by attending our show. Visitors will be able to get tips from beauty experts, sample food from local caterers, meet talented mehndi artists, see amazing floral and decor designs and much more. Of course a majority of our visitors will be engaged, thinking about getting married or counting the days until their big day, but even if a wedding isn't on your horizon, you can still come to the show. Some of our vendors will be selling jewelry and clothing at the show and it's always fun to taste food from local restaurants and get tips on makeup and hair styles.

Give us a sample of vendors of this event.
Xtreme Productions, Golden Gate Studios (Florist), Noureen Designs, Newport Hyatt Regency, Shadikecard, Photobooth Planet, Preeti Exclusive Creations and Bollywood Grill are a few of the vendors that are coming to the 2nd Annual Shaadi Bazaar Bridal Show. This year, we are extremely excited to welcome online fashion boutique, Exclusively. In to our event. For the first time in the New England area, they will be bringing the latest bridal fashions for visitors to try on and purchase at the show!

What is most unique about this event?
Most of the time, brides come to shows alone or with their moms or girlfriends, leaving the groom at home. So this year we wanted to cater to the groom as well with an exclusive Groom's Lounge provided by Creative Event Services and Boston Lounge Decor. Grooms will be able to relax, play poker, and listen to great music in this ultra chic and comfortable lounge.

What else can people expect from Shaadi Bazaar?
In addition to our show, we have added some great new features to our website to give brides all the tools they need to plan their wedding year round. We have an extensive vendor directory and a new and exciting blog where brides can find valuable wedding planning tips and tricks, see the newest fashions straight from the runways in Delhi and get helpful advice from featured vendors.  Brides can also post reviews of vendors on the directory to help future brides-to-be.

Can people walk in to the Bazaar or do you need to preregister?
The show is Free and people can pre-register on our website Shaadi-Bazaar.com, or come and register in person on the day of the show.  The first 100 brides to be registered will receive a gift courtesy of Beantown Bride  and Binita Patel Photography.  Please visit www.Shaadi-Bazaar.com to register

Finally is it open to all couples, South Asian or mainstream?

Shaadi Bazaar is open to anyone that would like to plan a pre-wedding event or a wedding that has South Asian influences.

The Shaadi Bazaar was a great show.  I'm glad there is finally a venue that caters to the Indian culture where we can find vendors in the New England area to plan a wedding and not have to look in the NJ/NY area. It was defintely much needed.  - Vaishali

What people said of last year's show...

The Shaadi Bazaar was a great display of vendors not just for brides but also for groups that plan large scale events. It was a great opportunity to meet various vendors and see what services they have to offer. Overall, great way to network and get a taste of what’s out there!
