Rishi Chintan (ॠषि चिंतन)

Real issue is intent not the system

(सवाल तंत्र का नहीं नीयत का है)

There is a wrong notion that if a particular political party gets majority then peace and prosperity will be restored. More than three fourth of the problems our country is currently facing are caused by the the greed and selfish attitude of the rulers. Without a pure and spiritual mindset the situation will only worsen, no matter which political party assumes power. Attitude, not the political belief is what decides the makeup of a system. Positive and selfless attitude has the capacity to transform even a bad system into an ideal one. Ram-rajya is an example of such a model system, which is admired for its good governance - not the communism, or the pseudo democracy practiced in some countries.

Another misconception regarding who can provide good governance is to view it from a religious angle. It is absolutely wrong to assume that a party with particular religious beliefs will make good government.

Both the world wars of last century were fought between the followers of Jesus. In ancient times, Devas and Asuras also went to war with each other, even though both of them were considered Hindus. Being religious does not guarantee greatness and excellence. It is the spiritual mindset which has power to take us beyond the barriers of religion, and to the path of love, peace, and humanity.
